I like to use the classic Ryder Waite Smith deck as well as the interesting Egyptian Thoth Tarot deck which is layered with Hebrew, Alchemical, Astrological, Egyptian, and Kabala meanings that until relatively recently were hidden and information about them was difficult to find.
I’m grateful to offer my readings in Spanish and Portuguese because language opens the doors to the many varied and beautiful communities that have always lived alongside me in our area. Dorothy got involved with a healing circle in the 70s and early '80s at Yale New Haven hospital, where she was the director of patient information. The purpose of this group was to investigate whether or not psychic healing or hands-on healing could be taught to doctors and nurses. It was an amazing opportunity to learn from some of the most remarkable people who were brought in to teach about many of the methods of using psychic abilities, and study with the department of medicine, department of paranormal psychology and the Divinity School. A specific task was given to the members of the circle to either create their own psychic reading method or perfect use of some existing method. Having been acquainted with card reading methods, Dorothy decided to see if she could create a simple method of card readings. Her husband became part of the group, and they decided to base it on the ten commandments, astrology and other symbology, combining it into a cohesive method of reading using standard playing cards. They created a board and incorporated the symbolism of each card as Dorothy had learned it as a child. Her mother worked with them, and with her extensive experience with card reading, they developed a system that has proven to be remarkably accurate.This system is not for fortune telling. It is a system of Life readings to give people options, guidance, and help them to understand the things that are happening in their lives.Dorothy has been doing these readings professionally since the seventies. After being ordained in 2003, she made the readings a part of her ministry, using it in counseling to help people who are struggling in their lives. She now does readings for people of any belief system, "sometimes you just need to have the cards on the table so you can see what your options are."

As a child, I was always aware of spirit activity where we lived but didn't really pay attention to it. Everything changed after the passing of my Mother in 1997. I began reading tarot cards soon after to help make sense of the energies I was picking up on.
In 2001 I went to Lilydale Assembly in Upstate NY where I was given a message by a medium at a public demonstration and I was amazed! I returned home and immediately sought out workshops, trainings and any education I could participate in to help me to understand what mediumship was.
I was inspired to complete a program with a medium from the Trilogy Institute and in 2008 attended a final workshop to be publicly tested in delivering accurate messages.
My primary focus is to prove the spirit does continue after a physical death, but also to bring assurance to loved ones after a loss.
